We are delighted to share with you an exciting update regarding our educational offerings here at Svenska Skolan Marbella. In our ongoing commitment to providing a comprehensive and globally competitive learning experience for our students, we are proud to announce the implementation of the international curriculum in our lower secondary, tailored specifically for International  students here at Svenska Skolan Marbella.

The international curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects and methodologies aimed at fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of global perspectives. We are excited to inform you that as part of this curriculum, we will be including new and innovative subjects to suit the schools ethos.

In addition to these subjects, the uniqueness of our program lies in our flexibility to work with the International Cambridge Programme and adapt it to the unique needs of our students, school ethos in maintaining small class sizes ( a maximum of 20 to a class). Our dedicated native english  teachers in the International programme  are trained to teach students with diverse abilities, ensuring that each child receives personalised attention and support tailored to their individual learning styles.

However, we understand that this program may present challenges for students whose English or academic abilities need strengthening. To address this, we will be setting assessments for those of you who have applied to establish their current level. Additionally, we will be preparing a support network for students to do over the summer to increase their level in preparation for the transition to the new system.

We recognize that some of you may only be looking into the Sofia Distans programme, but we wanted to inform you of this new development within the school. As we are approaching full capacity, if you are looking to apply to the international section or the Cambridge International programme please contact me on nina@svenskaskolanmarbella.com and  let us know if you need any more information regarding the programme or would like to meet to learn more.

I am  looking forward to hearing from you and meeting you in the not too distant future. Thank you for your continued support.
